By ROGER AMSDEN, for THE LACONIA DAILY SUNLACONIA — Retired 4-star U.S. Army General and former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Wesley Clark campaigned for Hillary Clinton in Laconia Tuesday, speaking before volunteers at Democratic Party headquarters on Beacon Street West. Clark was introduced by state Sen. Andrew Hosmer (D-Laconia), who said he had supported Clark when he ran for the Democratic Party nomination in the 2004 primary and thanked Clark for his steady leadership during for the Kosovo crisis during Bill Clinton's presidency. He said that Trump has repeatedly shown that he is temperamentally unfit to serve as commander in chief. He also raised questions about Trump's ties to Russia and said that he has shown disrespect for veterans and military families.
