These partnerships aim to strengthen Algeria’s domestic satellite capabilities and support Morocco’s development of satellite services and applications, underscoring Geespace’s broader push to deploy low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite technology for commercial and institutional purposes. Expanding Geespace’s Presence in North AfricaIn December 2025, Geespace signed a cooperation agreement with Algerian entities to advance Algeria’s capabilities in satellite IoT services, low-Earth orbit satellite production, and broader technological self-reliance. These initiatives align with Algeria’s broader ambitions to strengthen its domestic space capabilities and develop greater technological self-reliance in satellite technologies. Expanding Satellite Applications in MoroccoIn 2025 Geespace signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Morocco’s Soremar Group in Casablanca to advance the deployment of GEESATCOM satellite communication services across Morocco and the wider North African region.
