Currently, ICC constructed and dedicated a modern school building in Tiah Town, and at the same time, constructing a clinic in Tiah Town and a 12-bedroom guest house in Glahn Town. Also speaking, ICC General Manager, Cesare Colombo lauded the citizens for the honor and outlined several development initiatives the company has undertaken since they started logging operations in the country. Gbi-Doru is one of the remotest districts in Nimba County, located at the southern part sharing boundaries with Grand Bassa, Rivercess and Grand Gedeh counties. They share a single clinic situated in Glahn Town, making it very difficult for patients to access the facility. Residents have been pushing to break away from Nimba County and join Rivercess because of “gross marginalization and under development.”
