Work stuff is work stuff; personal stuff is personal stuff. I often don’t take myself seriously enough and she’s good to remind me of what I’ve done and what I need to do. I don’t overreact when I hear of new developments, which helps me to try and stay level-headed, both in my personal life and at work. That may have been a fulfilling life but I’m certainly glad things worked out the way they did. Gavan Reilly is a political correspondent for Virgin Media.
