The plastic reusable cups may show signs of wear and tear but will have been washed and sterilised. Customers will be allowed to borrow a cup and told to return it to one of five collection points before boarding their flight. The aim is to cut down on single-use cups. Almost three billion single-use cups were used in the UK last year and only 4 per cent were recycled.
