Fernando Tatis is baseball's newest marketing star. Fernando Tatis Jr. has played less than a full season’s worth of MLB games but may already be the most electrifying player in the sport. PepsiCo-owned Gatorade works with several baseball players on a regional basis, but Tatis joins Jeter and Bryce Harper as the only players with national Gatorade endorsement deals over the past two decades. The Padres reached the playoffs this year for the first time since 2006, breaking MLB’s second-longest postseason drought. Tatis and Machado were each selected to the all-MLB first team last week at their respective positions.
