Gas supply has again been suspended from Friday morning in Tangail due to the relocation of the valve pits. The supply has been cut off since 8am and will resume around 10pm, Assistant manager of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd Khandakar Monjur Rahman told the Dhaka Tribune. Monjur said: “The relocation of gas valve pits is in progress and hence, the gas supply is suspended. It will resume after 10pm.”He said all the valve pits cannot be relocated in a single day. Previously, on April 26, gas supply was suspended in the district for 14 hours due to a similar reason.
