DALLAS (AP) — Gasoline prices have dipped under $4 for the first time in more than five months — good news for consumers who are struggling with high prices for many other essentials. Recently, however, oil prices have dropped on concern about slowing economic growth around the world. “That is certainly contributing to the most recent decline” in gas prices. While not large enough to account for the drop in gasoline prices, the extra supply from reserves might have helped stem the rise in pump prices, according to analysts. “These are still high gas prices.”
