Garrett delighted to be back welcoming customers

The reopening of non-essential retail last week means that award-winning jeweller maker Garrett Mallon is able to welcome customers back into his craft shop in Carlingford. While Garrett had been busy working in his workshop throughout lockdown, he says that the shop had 'lost its soul' without any customers popping in for a chat. It's his policy to stock only Irish made crafts and he loves telling customers about the people who make them. Although he missed the buzz of customers in the shop, Garrett made good use of lockdown to work on private commissions and also to source new products for shop. I'm delighted that Garrett can reopen his doors again, and I can't wait to visit and make a few purchases for myself,' she says.
