The principal of the school Ndile Denis recounts that the source of the fire is unknown. He added that the incident occurred 25 minutes after having employed a plumber and electrician to check out the problem of water shortage in the school borehole. From the electrician's findings, the water shortage came as a result of a bad metal that had to be replaced. Shortly after the discovery the principal could only receive a call to hear that fire is wrecking his school.
