Gareth Bale is no longer one of Manchester United’s transfer targets this summer, despite speculation linking the Welshman with a move to Old Trafford. United are still keen to sign Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka and have also earmarked Harry Maguire as one of their top targets. It is thought Bale earns more than £500,000 a week at Real Madrid, adding another financial hurdle to a deal United have no interest in pursuing.
