Gang steals money, gold watches from Garang's son Nairobi home

Armed criminals on Tuesday raided the Nairobi home of a senior Sudan government official. They stole cash and jewellery estimated to be worth millions of shillings. Four men, armed with a pistol, are said to have entered the home of Sudan Water Affairs minister Mabior Garang. Garang is the son of slain Sudan politician John Garang who died in 2005. Three domestic workers, among them two Ugandans, are reported to have gone missing after the 3.30pm attack.
