Six years ago when I became a regular user of the LRT from the Kelana Jaya LRT station to KLCC, I could almost always get a seat because Kelana Jaya station was at the end of the line. But I got used to standing and didn’t mind it at all, and it is much healthier than sitting down. On some occasions, I have had to wait for the next train because the present one was packed to the rafters. When carried on the back, these bags, whether big or small, take up space. If two or more passengers could put their backpacks on the floor, some space could be created for another to squeeze in.
