Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Thursday held talks with Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) President Martin Schulz. Gachagua said the government is keen to work with international partners to strengthen and advance democracy. We will work with FES to ensure that ongoing peace efforts in the region are successful," he said. "We also strongly believe in political parties grounded on clear ideologies. Gachagua said he will engage with FES and the Social Democratic Party, (SPD) the oldest political party in Germany to advance the country's democracy.
