Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has warned Public Service Vehicle (PSV) operators against allegedly facilitating goons to sabotage his public events. The Democratic for Citizen Party (DCP) leader has cautioned that matatu owners should not complain "if their vehicles fail to return." According to Gachagua, residents of the area immediately neutralised the goons, who he claims were under police protection. I was amazed by their determination to make sure goons and state-sponsored militia are not allowed to disrupt peace," Gachagua said. Speaking at a public event on Sunday, January 11, Gachagua urged Kenyans to boycott the matatu saccos.
