General News of Saturday, 12 May 2018Source: ghananewsagency.orgGTA signs agreement with Supoman chiefsMr. Agyeman said the Authority was determined to build more projects across the countryThe Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has struck a deal with the Supoman Divisional Council for the construction of an ultra-modern highway rest stop at Supoman-Dunkwa to serve tourists and the travelling public. Nana Pansor IV, chief of Supoman and Nifahene of the Shama traditional area, signed the agreement on behalf of the council with Mr. Akwasi Agyeman, Chief Executive Officer of the GTA, initialling it for the Authority. This forms part of the drive to boost tourism – to create jobs and raise earnings from the sector. Mr. Agyeman underlined the determination of the Authority to build more projects across the country to enhance visitor and tourists experience to Ghana. Nana Pansor applauded the GTA for the initiative.
