People from various places are waiting and hoping that GST proves to be a boon rather than a bane for the Indian economy. However, restaurant associations in Kolkata have welcomed the new GST. In the country's financial capital, the hospitality industry has given a thumbs up to the revolutionary tax reform. While speaking with the public, it was discovered that the coffee rates have come down at most of the cafes located in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj area. Whereas in Bangalore, which has the highest amount of taxation in the country, consumers felt quite relieved with its implementation.
