"We are saying the economy is not yet ready to face the GST from the 1st of July, 2017. "Sources told PTI that Congress leaders were in two minds about whether to attend. Some felt GST is the party's brainchild and therefore they should attend the June 30 event. Those who favoured not attending said the tax is being implemented in haste, allegedly leading to the harassment of small traders and businessmen.The Left leaders are also not inclined to attend the GST event.
