According to agriculture minister Prabhulal Saini, apart from farmers, 3000 other people including national and international agriculture experts and businessmen would also participate in the three-day eventGlobal Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM) will begin in Udaipur from Tuesday. As many as 24,000 farmers would participate in the programme for which three farmers have been selected from each village. According to agriculture minister Prabhulal Saini, apart from farmers, 3000 other people including national and international agriculture experts and businessmen would also participate in the three-day event. There were 38 MoU signed in Jaipur GRAM but only seven could be executed and 10 are under process. According to an estimate, the government is spending an estimated Rs 17 to Rs 20 crore on GRAM Udaipur.
