Two Republican senators expressed doubts Sunday that North Korea would accede to President Donald Trump’s demand of denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula if diplomatic talks between the two countries are set back on track. Mr. Trump called off plans for a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un this past week, but appeared to quickly reverse course by taking a positive tone later in the week about prospects for a meeting, originally set for June 12 in Singapore.
