Mr. Andre Fotso will be remembered as a rare Cameroonian business magnet who provided direct employment to more than 800 Cameroonians. After his sojourn as a student of the Lyon II University in France In 1977 to 1983, where he studied Science Management Andre Fotso came back to Cameroon and in 1991, began a business entreprise. In 1993 he set up the first Cameroon Gas company and in 2002 became a member of GICAM. His efforts to enlarge the Cameroon Business landscape earned him the post of a vice President of GICAM in 2008, after having contributed to establish the Ecobank group in Cameroon in 2003.
