According to head of Angel Fm sports Saddick Adams,the Ghana FA has been in hot discussions about providing the needed funds to help run the various leagues. Ghana FA has proposed a budget of USD$10.8 million to Gov't of Ghana for the organisation of the domestic competitions for 2019/20 season. Ghana Premier league alone was a allotted $2.8 million dollars to cover its organisation. The Ghana Premier League season was truncated during the 2018/2018 season after an alleged corruption expose by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
