The condemnation comes on the back of an attack on a teacher at the Salvation Army Basic School at Asiakwa in the Eastern Region. The RME teacher, George Somuah Bosompem died at the St. Joseph’s Hospital at Koforidua where he was rushed to after an attack by some six teenagers. The GES in a statement said it will withdraw its teachers and staff from communities where teachers’ safety cannot be guaranteed. The Eastern Regional Police Command has arrested all the six suspects involved in the attack.
