Workers at the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) protested in several cities, to demand disbursing their financial dues, increasing their salaries, and providing them with health insurance and security and safety means. General Union of Electricity Workers published, on its official Facebook page, photos and videos of the workers’ protests in Sahel Al-Jaffara, Ubari, Derna, the West Coast, Sebha, Brak Al-Shati, Tobruk, Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar, Alloos, Qasr Al-Akhyar, and Misrata.
