GAA: Ballygunner in Munster final after win over Loughmore-CastleineyWaterford champions Ballygunner have defeated Tipperary's Loughmore-Castleiney in their Munster semi-final at Walsh Park by 1-26 to 1-16. The Westmeath champions were worthy winners, turning in a tremendous performance all through, particularly in the second half which they won by 1-13 to 0-04. Niall O'Brien scored 1-13 for the Westmeath champions as they defeated the Kilkenny champions to advance to the semi-finals. They will face Offaly's Kilcormac Killoughey who progressed after a 1-17 to 1-12 win over St Mullins of Carlow. In the shootout, Standhill scored all their penalties, with Conor McStay's saved to send the Sligo side through to the final.
