(CNN) G. Gordon Liddy -- a former FBI agent, organizer of the Watergate break-in and radio show host -- has died at age 90, his son confirmed to CNN. He is survived by his sister Margaret McDermott, and his five adult children: Thomas, Alexandra Liddy Bourne, Grace Liddy, James Liddy, and Raymond Liddy. Former White House aide G. Gordon Liddy is filmed by journalists as he leaves US District Court, where he pleaded not guilty of breaking into Democratic National Headquarters at the Watergate Hotel. When the Watergate operation collapsed, it compromised Liddy and others, thus opening the possibility that Nixon's hand in White House corruption could be revealed. As the White House came under more heat, Liddy was often discussed by Nixon and top aides, with Nixon saying in tapes that "Liddy is pretty tough."
