The SNP is in talks about the prospect of lifting the pay freeze on Ministerial salaries, it has been reported. The news will enrage Scots who are forced to pay the highest taxes in the UK by the regime. Critics last night reacted with fury at the suggestion Ministerial salaries could be boosted while ordinary Scots battle a cost of living crisis. Scottish Tory deputy leader Rachael Hamilton said: "The record of SNP Ministers is one of incompetence, mismanagement and abuse of taxpayers' money. The freeze means that despite being eligible for an extra £33,989 on top of their £72,196 MSP salary, Ministers actually get £81,449, according to Holyrood officials.
