The Funkbone ExperienceThe Globe Theatre, October 12Reviewed by Stephen FisherIn the latest realisation of the Funkbone Experience lineup, Rodger Fox has brought his own special magic to the worlds of funk, jazz and blues. All five of these maestros were obviously most comfortable on stage, each making their own contributions to a magnificent sound. Jazz artists have to find their own particular niche and this concert certainly suited Fox and his friends, with magnificent musicianship to the fore throughout the evening. What a pity it couldn't have been a live recording of the evening.
