The Very Revd Toby Wright, Dean of Wells, will be among those taking part in the challenge. "Monks in the Greek Islands use it as a spiritual discipline and it is both enormously good fun, and a great way to develop a can-do attitude. The event will include full training and a safety briefing from the Firewalk UK team. Gavin Osborn, fundraising manager for SWEDA, said: "This is our first event in Wells, and to have a firewalk right on the cathedral green is going to create a fantastic spectacle. SWEDA has supported people of all ages with eating disorders for more than 30 years.
