Minister says event will help develop linkages for peace and developmentPESHAWAR: With 2,000 competitors from all across the country, the National Youth Carnival (NYC) Mega Challenge-2017 began at 30 venues inside the Peshawar Sports Complex on Saturday. “The participants are from educational institutions as well as from some 17 madrasas,” said K-P Minister for Sports and Youth Affair Mehmood Khan. It is the biggest event of the youth in the country carrying prize award of Rs5 million,” Mehmood said. “We want the youth of Pakistan to establish linkages for peace building and development,” said the Mehmood. Organised by K-P directorate of sports and youth affairs, the event also highlights the traditions, arts and culture of the province.
