The bus was withdrawn from service after 6pm on Tuesday due to antisocial behaviour (Image: Newcastle Chronicle)In a statement, the force said: "Anti-social behaviour of any nature is completely unacceptable and we will continue to do all we can to tackle this important issue wherever we find incidents occurring, using a range of tactics. "We have recently received reports of young people throwing items including stones at buses in the Meadow Well area of North Shields.
