During the 70s, 80s and up to his arrest in 1994, self-confessed monster Barry Bennell destroyed a succession of young lives. Swapped young victims with other paedophiles - including Frank Roper, the Manchester-based scout who abused England star Paul Stewart. The son of a Manchester pub landlord, Bennell was a talented amateur footballer but became well known as a junior scout and coach. In the early 80s, Bennell teamed up with fellow paedophile Bruce McLean coaching in and around Manchester and Cheshire.
