Conlan replaces fellow full-back Scott Duxbury, who has left the club with a year of his contract remaining. A product of the Burnley youth set-up, Conlan has represented his country at Under-21 and various youth levels. He joined Morecambe in 2016, initially on loan, and has made more than 100 EFL appearances for the League Two club.
