Photo: SuppliedA man who has been on the run for 18 days after allegedly carjacking five victims in Christchurch has been caught. Dylan James Brett, 29, appeared in the Christchurch District Court on Friday morning after the incidents on November 18. Police allege the pair unlawfully took two cars from two different victims and assaulted two people. They allege Brett alone unlawfully took three more vehicles from three others and assaulted two people. In total, five victims have made complaints to police, some alleging they were car-jacked and assaulted while others say they were just car-jacked.
