Rollie James (36) has been on the run from police since August 13, when he allegedly shot at police in Morrinsville. Police superintendent Bruce Bird said Heke had been arrested "without incident and without undue risk to the community". His former partner Irene Scanlon, who was also wanted by police, had not yet been found.
