The DNA matching of samples picked from the victims of last Saturday fuel tanker explosion in Siaya is complete. On Tuesday, Siaya county police commander Michael Muchiri said experts had begun identifying bodies burnt beyond recognition. Seven people who sustained various degrees of burns died at the Siaya county referral hospital. Gem subcounty police commander Charles Chacha said two more people with burns turned up at the Yala Sub-County Hospital on Thursday. "This brings the number of the fire victims admitted at Yala Sub-County Hospital to seven," he said.
