The above quote from Angell, the noted baseball writer, was about a wunderkind who had stepped up to the majors and starred immediately. I first read it in the spring of 1983, shortly after my NHL debut with the Philadelphia Flyers. I cut the Angell quote out of that book, put it in my wallet and carried it with me for the next 12 years. Once again, I’m thinking about the quote as I start another life chapter and pen my first official column. Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading...
