From the Mayor – 9th November 2023Hi everyone and welcome to my latest column. This is such good news for all Frome rail passengers and of course ticket office staff, none more so than the amazing Anna at Frome Station. Alongside the spruce up I’ve been giving our bus shelters, I’ve spent some time doing a litter pick outside the train station and along Station Approach. On Friday 10th November, I will be at Frome Train Station at 8.45am to present a wreath from Frome for the Poppy Train travelling to London for Remembrance Sunday. The Remembrance Day Parade will take place on Sunday 12th November, organised by The British Legion and Frome Town Council.
