Good From Scratch Cookery School is celebrity chef Michael Van de Elzen’s latest passion project. That dream became a reality last week when the Good From Scratch Cookery School opened. The Good From Scratch Cookery School’s aim is to offer a farm-to-table, or more specifically seed-to-plate, learning experience. As its name suggests, the Good From Scratch Cookery School will teach students to make all the components in each dish, avoiding pre-made supermarket sauces and seasonings. ‘‘There’s something very satisfying about taking that seed, nurturing it, watching it grow.
