Skip the boring grocery trip and embark on a culinary adventure as outdoor farmers market season gets underway across the SouthCoast. As we inch closer to June, outdoor farmers markets are slowly but surely welcoming buyers back for warm-weather shopping. The Swansea Farmers Market at Stony Creek Farm has that and more every Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. An event that started with just eight vendors, Swansea Farmers Market has grown to upwards of 25 on their busiest days, said Erin Babbitt, owner of Stony Creek Farm who manages the Swansea Farmers Market. The Fall River Farmers Markets debuted in 2019 with one location at HealthFirst Family Health Center, 387 Quarry St., and expanded over the years to three.
