From lawman to felon: Connifey sentenced for perjury

Tim Connifey (right) stands next to his attorney, Nicholas Brodich, in court on Thursday. The sentence was the maximum allowed in the capped deal that Connifey and the Attorney General's Office negotiated. Connifey addressed the court before sentencing, apologizing to the court, Attorney General's Office, local officers and the town of Bartlett. Connifey said he's lost four jobs because of the charges and all the clients for his security service, "Good Speed Connifey Group." When Ignatius asked if the charges would affect his retirement benefits, Connifey and Brodich weren't sure, but Connifey didn't think so.
