Karla Lindsay and Dan Schmidt met at Studholme College hall of residence and have returned to stay there before their wedding. Timaru woman Karla Lindsay met fiance Dan Schmidt at the University of Otago’s Studholme College 12 years ago. "We met pretty quickly, but didn’t get together until a lot later," Ms Lindsay said. Each travelled overseas after graduation but they stayed in touch, and Mr Schmidt came to visit Ms Lindsay when she was living in China. "The hall thought it was a great idea," Ms Lindsay said.
