They used to make these supercool graphic novels of classics, like Moby-Dick, Macbeth, etc. I love that graphic novels can do what film, books and music can’t do: they can express silence and thought and pondering. But with graphic novels you can have a whole page of action with silence and your eye is forced to reckon with that silence.
