A 13-year-old schoolgirl jumped off a moving train and suffered head and leg injuries after a man entered the ladies’ compartment of the local train she was in, fearing he would molest her, on Sunday morning. In her statement, the teenager said boarded the train from CSMT at 9am and was going to her tuition class at Currey Road and . As the train started pulling out of the station, she saw a man boarding the same compartment and panicked, she said. When the man told her to keep quiet and moved closer to her, she jumped out of the compartment, fearing that he would molest her. The CSMT Government Railway Police have registered a complaint and looking for the man, who alighted the train at the next stop after the incident.
