Talita Summer (left) has been described as a ‘talented musician’ by her friend Kat Zolita Mason (right). The 43-year-old was taken to Wellington Regional Hospital in critical condition, but later died in the early hours of May 24. After she moved, the pair met and “clicked instantly”, Zolita Mason said. Zolita Mason said Summer was an “absolute natural” when it came to playing the saxophone. A death notice for Summer in The Dominion Post on Tuesday said she will be “sadly missed by family and friends”.
