Squadron Leaders Siddharth Vashisht and Ninad Mandavgan of the ill-fated Mi-17 chopper have been awarded Vayu Sena Medal. Sources in the IAF said administrative action has already been taken against four officers held responsible for the helicopter crash by a court of inquiry. Padma awardsThe late Sushma Swaraj, George Fernandes and Arun Jaitley have been chosen for the Padma Vibhushan. Among the 16 persons chosen for the Padma Bhushan are vocalist Ajoy Chakrabarty and industrialist Anand Mahindra. Filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Kangana Ranaut have been chosen for the Padma Shri.
