Lionsgate and Pantelion FilmsIn new release news for Friday, MGM, Lionsgate and Pantelion's Overboard earned a solid $4.815 million on its opening day. That includes $675,000 in Thursday previews and positions the film for a solid $14.5-$15m opening weekend. But Derbez remains a solid small-scale movie star. Dean Devlin's small-scale chiller Bad Samaritan debuted with very little buzz and even less star power.
