(File photo)Environment Southland have delayed a resource consent hearing for Alliance Group so it could determine what implications new freshwater rules would have on its proposal. Alliance Group has applied for resource consents to discharge to water, dam and take water, and a land use consent at its meat processing plant at Mataura. The plant currently operates under 10 resource consents issued by Environment Southland. The hearing was originally set down for late September but will now be heard in the first week of December.
