Apichart Sermsin, 19, a first-year student at Rajabhat Nakhon Pathom University, was arrested at his mother’s house in Nakhon Pathom’s Mueang district. He is charged with shooting and wounding Natthawut Singsorn, 20, a third-year student. Natthawut was shot in the back of the neck at point blank range while washing his face in the restroom. They claim Apichart admitted to shooting his fellow student with a .38 calibre revolver, saying it was in response to the senior giving him a contemptuous look. They said he prefers being on his own and has no friends, and that eye contact with others can make him agitated.
