SCHONACH, Germany (AP) " Eric Frenzel wrapped up an unprecedented fifth straight Nordic combined World Cup title on Sunday with his 10th win of the season. The Olympic champion could only have been denied by German teammate Johannes Rydzek going into the final event. It was Frenzel's third straight World Cup win. Rydzek, who needed to win and hope Frenzel finished no better than fourth, finished 27.6 seconds behind in ninth place. The 28-year-old German finished with 1,734 points, 125 ahead of Rydzek.
